The simple face mask is designed for patients requiring a higher concentration of oxygen than what is delivered via a nasal cannula. The flow rate for the simple face mask typically ranges between 4 to 8 LPM. Unlike Non-Rebreather masks, the simple face mask allows outside air to mix with the incoming oxygen.
All materials used in the construction of the Oxygen Mask and Tubing are latex-free, featuring a soft and smooth surface without sharp edges. These materials are hypoallergenic and resistant to ignition, ensuring no undesirable effects on the medication or oxygen passing through under standard conditions.
