Product Description
Latex Foley Catheter is widely used in departments of urology, internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, and gynecology for the drainage of urine and medication. It is specifically designed for patients who have difficulty moving or are completely bed-ridden. These urethral catheters are passed through the urethra during urinary catheterization and into the bladder to drain urine or insert fluids.
Constructed from high-quality latex with a silicone coating, the tube is inserted into the bladder where a fixed balloon holds it securely in place. The drainage tube is then connected to a urine bag for efficient collection.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
After aseptic catheterization, inflate the retention balloon by inserting the syringe tip into the valve and introduce the necessary amount of sterile water.
WARNING:
Do not use ointments or lubricants having a petroleum base. They will damage the catheter and may cause the balloon to burst.
